Sean is also a Town Councillor for Lytchett Minster and Upton.

He previously served as a Poole Borough Councillor (2015-2019) and a BCP Councillor (2021-2023). Sean was Mayor of Poole for the civic year of 2018-2019, previously serving as Sheriff of Poole (2017-2018).
